HIV Testing in Retail Pharmacies Online Training

The pre-course online training, HIV Testing in Retail Pharmacies, is a pre-requisite to the 4.5-hour inperson training on HIV Testing in Retail Pharmacies. The online and in-person trainings together are designed to provide pharmacy staff with the skills necessary to conduct a complete HIV testing session with retail pharmacy patients. Participants learn CDC’s Six-Step HIV Testing Protocol for nonclinical settings and review considerations for conducting HIV testing in pharmacy settings. This online pre-course training takes about 1 hour to complete. You will need to score 80% or higher on the Final Exam to obtain your Certificate of Completion. Continuing Education is offered after completion of both the online and in-person trainings.
